Through boom periods and even in times of economic stagnation, the company that Louis Maietta started in 1967 has continued to grow and prosper.  Many of "Big Lou's" sons and grandchildren now run the business with the same philosophy that has guided the company since it started: respect for the customer is the key to success.  

This same respect applies to the company's employees -- in good and bad times, Maietta has been able to avoid layoffs and keep the staff working. In a tight-knit community like the one Maietta's employees and customers work and live in, that respect can go a long way.

Maietta Construction primarily does excavation and earth-moving work: clearing sites, digging cellar holes, installing foundations, roads and sewerage lines, backfilling and fine grading.  With over 130 employees, dozens of the latest CAT machines, and 35 years in the business, Maietta enjoys a solid reputation in the industry.

While Maietta Construction focuses primarily on commercial and industrial jobs, we're also the home of GLM Associates, Inc., specializing in new home construction, and Maietta Foundations, Inc., specializing in commercial and residential foundations.
